Patience
Although
not much time passed
between
the beginning and the end,
a
certain elegance was held,
like
a statue resolved
already
bored,
feeling
stuck.
I
sketched “K” for the first time in my long life this morning.
A
nice way to spend the morning.
Looking
forward to drawing her again.
18”x
24” graphite and chalk on craft paper.
Very inspiring "K". I'm sure you will create more sketches and words with her... And this one is amazing...
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteAlways. Starting a new relationship is always enjoyable..
ow I have missed your drawings and sketches and words and I'm back. Of course I lost all my bookmarks, so thank God I found you. Might find a few others here, my new blog: https://photosandtheeverydayl.blogspot.ca/
ReplyDeleteGlad you are back.. It seems so long. Looking forward to viewing your new blog.
DeleteHer patience is admirable...the boredom is evident in her face, yet she sits so calmly...and waits...
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful sketch, Anthony. I love how you have captured her true essence here...I feel I already know her! :))
Thank you.
DeleteWill have to draw her a number of more times before commenting on knowing her, or thinking about things like true essence☺
