Patience

Patience

Although not much time passed
between the beginning and the end,
a certain elegance was held,
like a statue resolved
already bored,
feeling stuck.

I sketched “K” for the first time in my long life this morning.
A nice way to spend the morning.
Looking forward to drawing her again.

18”x 24” graphite and chalk on craft paper.

  3. Her patience is admirable...the boredom is evident in her face, yet she sits so calmly...and waits...
Such a beautiful sketch, Anthony. I love how you have captured her true essence here...I feel I already know her! :))

Will have to draw her a number of more times before commenting on knowing her, or thinking about things like true essence☺
