A Strange Seat

A Strange Seat

Not sure how to explain what “B” was sitting on, other to say what it was: blanket covered pillows on a drawing horse. Her costume didn’t look appropriate to be my typical fall back: rocks on a shore.
Anyway, this is my sketch from this mornings session with the Independent Painters Group.

24”x 18” ink and watercolor.

  1. Bonjour cher Anthony,

    Gros bisous

  2. I think she has been horse-riding!
Must be the boots that brought me to that conclusion...yes, she's been just cantering around the back yard to while away the hours. The only things missing are riding hat and whip! ;))

    1. Of course, a horse. Should have consulted you when she was posing. Although it would have been a challenge, for me at least, to draw what wasn’t there.
      Thank you
