Headlights
I
did it again for a second week. I showed up with acrylics instead of my usual
ink and watercolors for this session to paint “P” with his top hat and red tie.
It was sort of fun not planning or thinking (as much) before going directly to
playing with thick buttery paint.
Okay,
more thinking would have helped.. It was fun though.

I really like this one too...and I think the thicker paint works equally as well. It is really striking.

DeleteI was mostly just playing around. The headlights were added to fill a blank place in the canvas, and maybe counter the costume “P” implied too.
