Awake

Too much light
in the latest
dark images,
haunting the
usual escape.

    The emptiness behind her sent a shiver down my spine!
    It's as if the world has disappeared and she is afraid to admit she is awake and so have to look behind her into the nothingness. Closed eyes...are the only way to preserve her sanity!
    Gosh, for me, this is so powerful!!😊😊

      Usually such poses include closed eyes, confirming the escape. Surprisingly, “TP” kept at least one eye open all the way through the pose.

      The other eye may have been open too. It was hiding in her nose’s shadow.
