Darker

Ventured through in disguise  
to a darker place
in the darkness
now exposed
by a soft
reassuring
glare.

    One of those spies you can spot anywhere.

    I like that phrase, “soft reassuring glare.” The glare could be a result of the lighting, or a reference to her expression.
