On Top of a Survivor
Where she often faced the sun
on a not so old rock shoal.
The formation of a survivor’s skull,
the small portion still visible,
just above the waves.
Where she often would swim,
seeking solitude from the rest,
and a connection with her past.
Her island within the islands
off the shores of Solitude.
This doodles relate to a post from last week titled “Atop a Vanished Warrior”.

The winter storm eliminated other commitments usually in the way on my Mondays. I should be writing, a chance to catch up on recent periods of procrastination. The words continue to hide. It is much easier for me to express what I’m seeing within the familiar floating clouds, in doodles here by my laptop, as I stare at this irritating screen.
