Unwelcome Answer
Even without the question
asked,
knowing either way
the answer will be
wrong.
Knowing either way
the answer will
end in sleep,
alone.
Some sketches of “SR”. He posed
this morning for a session I attended.
1st: 9”x 12” fountain
pen, oil sanguine and chalk on toned paper
2nd: 16”x 12” fountain
pen, oil sanguine and chalk on colored paper
You Transmit this story so well, through your drawings, it's hurting and it's wonderful....you're awesome Anthony...
ReplyDeleteIt’s images, facial expressions and body language. They are such good story tellers. So many more options could have been created, beyond the story told.
DeleteThank you
Aww...and he was so brave in asking the question...only to receive the wrong answer.
ReplyDeleteHe is so sad and dejected...to sleep away the disappointment is all he could do under these circumstances...although he would have much preferred to have not been sleeping alone.
Such a sad story here, Anthony...I feel his pain...
Such images in your hands become a much more enticing story than my beginnings could suggest. I have a desire to sketch in a body, a face looking over his body in the second sketch, just to change the ending, reduce the pain☺
DeleteThank you
Oh please do...I just know that would lift him out of this deep melancholy...:)
DeleteDefinitely, the next time I see him in this pose☺
DeleteNice and interesting drawings ... bravo Anthony !!!
ReplyDeleteHave a good and creative month !!!
Ah, he need just visualize a 'good' one answer! :)
