Yellow
Bloomers 2
She
feels better here on the shore than where I left her last week in watercolors
on a boring page.
“B”
was back this morning for a second week in the same pose, for the Independent
Painters Group.
I
haven’t used my acrylics in a while. Mold had formed over many of the colors
within the paint saver container.
16”x
20” acrylic on canvas pad.
A beautiful painting, the surroundings are lovely, and the model seems in a different mood, a little skeptical, unsure? Either it's a beautiful drawing

DeleteShe was the same, I think, maybe less of a smile..
Oh WOW, this is amazing! To see my "dancer" in this setting opens up a new story...she is on holiday here...it is high summer...oh dream on...!
ReplyDeleteThis is fantastic...the rich colours, the stunning background. I so want to step into the illusion...
Have a great weekend :)
Well she did make it to the shore.. Summer exists somewhere, if only in the drawing☺
DeleteThank you
if you have time you are posted as awards that i gave to many talented people...ok nothing but a big applause lol
ReplyDeleteThank you. I will have to take a look…
DeleteSome tension in the character and in colors...like expecting of someone or something to happen....moving me great deal!
ReplyDeleteYes, I agree. I think it’s mostly in where she was looking through most of the pose. I’m not sure what the attraction was. I didn’t notice it in last weeks attempt.
