With
Bones
Had
a couple of sessions with “GR” today, sketching from his various poses. It’s
good to be drawing from a model again. It’s been a while.
This
pose had him with bones in each hand. I’m not sure why. We searched the studio
for a human skull and ended up settling for a less interesting skull of a deer
that has had better days.
His
other hand held a thick leg bone. I don’t think it was human either.

Bonjour cher Anthony,
Gros bisous ♡
“GR” works hard at coming up with new poses. I draw him often enough to make this a challenge.
DeleteThank you for your review of my past posts, and the kisses, of course☺
For me, he is a Medicine Man...such an imposing figure, with those bones and their healing magic...:)
ReplyDeleteHe was definitely attempting to heal some one, probably us drawing him☺ “GR” does have a powerful presence in most of his poses
DeleteThank you
wow, a battle won in each hand , it is the brave hunter, I love how GR can look fierce when necessary , bravo to you glad you're back ! :)
ReplyDeleteI wish we had found a human skull. He would have been even more imposing.. I know there’s one in the studio somewhere. We just couldn’t find it.
DeleteThank you
Yes I’m back, sort of. Other projects are taking up more of my time. Except for now scheduled modeling sessions, I’m a little behind on the daily sketches and paintings to post.
It’s a very nice drawing again and very iteresting model !!!
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteI know him! Such a typical character! Really convincing! What is his profession?
ReplyDeleteHe does a lot of modeling around town, for the local universities, community colleges and art centers. He’s performs opera too I am told.
