Day
of Dance and Being Fabulous
“E”
posed for a couple of sessions I attended yesterday.
A
couple of the sketches are of the same pose. I had a small battle with myself
deciding proportions during the pose.
1st:
24”x 18” oil sanguine
2nd:
9”x 12” fountain pen, oil sanguine and chalk on toned paper
3rd:
18”x 24” pastel on colored charcoal paper
4th:
17”x 14” ballpoint pen
Very nice sketches with interesting dancing poses !!!

DeleteOh I love these so much so much part of the Day of Dance and Being Fabulous, I'm joining them in my mind, spectacular Anthony! Can i be the one in the middle of the 4th drawing...I love dancing, maybe i'll do that today, thanks Anthony, this is awesome, always
ReplyDeleteDancing and being fabulous is a good way to start any day. Why not?
DeleteI always feel better after sessions watching and sketching “E” as she poses. She has so much more energy than me, and I’m pretty sure she is a number of years older.
Oh I just adore them all!
ReplyDeleteThe dance scene, in wonderful sepia, conveys such a powerful sense of movement and fun...I feel a need to join in.
And in the others...yes, she is fabulous...and so glamorous! The centre one is my personal favourite. She is so vivacious and alive.
A great selection, Anthony. Bravo! :)
She is definitely a dancer. She even brings her own music and dances between the poses. A lot of fun. I have sketched as a belly dancer often in the past.

These sketches are truly fabulous, you are so gifted!
ReplyDeleteI have my granddaughter here today and I think I might do a little dancing with her
Smiles ...
Thank you
DeleteA chance to dance, especially with your granddaughter, should not be missed☺
Diva, royalty, great attitude! Very feminine empowering!
ReplyDeleteShe is definitely all of these things, a joy to be around.
DeleteFabulous is right, Anthony - these are all great!
