"D" Getting the Story

“D” Getting the Story
This was her final performance in yesterday’s costume figure session. And old lime green rotary telephone was found among the props in the studio. If only I had had a green pen.
The pose was long enough to add a city in the background.
12”x 9” ballpoint pen on toned grey paper

    1. This pose was all “D”. She’s the one who found the phone.
      Thank you

  2. "D" appears extremely intellectual here...I can imagine her being a professor in a university...highly intelligent, but also a little eccentric!
I wonder what her subject would be...:)

    1. I can see a professor… More I saw her as a news reporter from the forties or fifties calling in a scoop, because of the hat and raincoat.

  3. Really cool, Anthony! She takes me back to the days when women wore hats and dressed nicely and men did, too. Just look at just about any film footage from the 40's through the 60's. I would have loved to have seen that old rotary phone in lime green :) Mine were always in basic black...lol! She sure does have that reporter look about her~~~

    1. It’s funny how dressing up is now consider as a costume. The models used to dress up as pirates and witches and stuff.
The phone was a cool find.
      Thank you
