Seat Tears
This
is the painted version of an ink sketch I did back in July. It was fun sketching
out the composition at a much larger scale and deciding on the colors.
The
story behind this work is explained with the sketch.

Bonjour Anthony,
ReplyDeleteJe découvre avec délice cette peinture. Une scène qui avait certainement dû vous frapper...
Gros bisous
I’m so glad you did.
DeleteThank you
sometimes a presence will help you through sometimes there is nothing you can do...but know that nothing is ever still...I love this so much, almost as much your Islands Of Solitudes
ReplyDeleteSometimes becomes always, depending on your perspective and acceptance of such things.

A confidence caught on canvas, like an overheard conversation (not that I would ever eavesdrop!), but there it is. A title can be so telling.
ReplyDeleteThere I go again, giving too much information:)
DeleteThank you
Love what you did here.
ReplyDeleteA lovely, emotive piece. I loved the sketch ,too - it looked so very well structured.
ReplyDeleteA little more planning than usual:)

Yes...I loved this one back in July, and I love it even more in colour!
ReplyDeleteProblem is...it tugs at the heart strings more vividly now...I need a tissue...
Painting this brought back thoughts I had when doing the sketch for me too.
