  1. This makes me think of sitting on the porch of a summer cottage after summer is over. Yeah, free of the crowd, with just a good book for company.

  4. Gosh...it seems even the Islands off Solitude have their "indoor season"...and what a season!
    That wonderful view is still there, only now is through a window.
    This feels so cosy...to be curled up with a good book in winter...my idea of seasonal Heaven!:)

    1. Yes in the off season when the winter winds below, there is a retreat to the mainland, though still within view of the islands. A quiet time just out of reach, until summer returns.
