As Islands (Version Two)

As Islands

As part of the rocky shore
As the island
They become

Islands off Solitude

I did a similar ink version of “As Islands” last week. With this version I attempted color. The poem hasn’t changed.
24”x 18” watercolor and ink on cold press

    1. It is the forms as part of the islands that initiated the idea. These are part of my islands off solitude, just more in a dream than the normal reality☺

  2. I don't understand i go way back, and I don't understand why you don't have 100 comments on almost all of your poss you have some extraordinary paintings in there...Is it that you don't visit other painters so that they're not aware of you, 'cause I've seen so many that shut be up in Galleries and you're so good.....I don't get it?

    1. I do appreciate your sentiments and opinion regarding my art. I do visits all the new posts of the bloggers I follow. I leave comments too with many, with a preference toward those who reply or comment on my site too. For those who never comment I am less active in commenting unless something is presented that really impresses me.
Also I have only been showing my art on the Internet or anywhere for that matter for just over five years. Before that I was an owner of an architectural firm, and didn’t have the time to do for the art I’m dong now..

    1. I speak to the land, the trees, the water, the air, especially the rocks on a rocky shore.. Sometimes it’s really hard to find a good listener☺
      Thank you

    1. No, my islands have no names. They are the islands located of the coast of a bay I call Solitude.. So they are the islands off Solitude (Bay)..
