There have been so many with different names, different excuses all tied to control and greed. A history unavoidable when a story includes so many years.. Thank you
Oh Anthony...there is so much suffering...too much suffering, I can almost feel it. Am clinging to the hope that there may yet be a happy conclusion. But then even the memories would continue to be painful, wouldn't they? Yes, ancestral fear would probably remain in the psyches of the victims for many generations to come. So sad. Such powerful, haunting images...I will never forget. A masterpiece of mythic proportions...breath-taking, yet so beautiful...:)
Our histories are all filled with versions of this sort of suffering. It is sad. Maybe if these moments in history weren’t so soon forgotten, they would happen less frequently. Thank you
The sketches, paintings and sometimes the writing I post on this site express what needs to be known about me. I attempt to record on a daily basis what I observe, what I imagine, and sometimes what I dream about.
I hope you enjoy my art, and the dialogue.

DeleteThank you so much for visiting and reviewing my recent work..
And as always thank you for the kisses..
What a sad story you told us, Anthony....
ReplyDeleteThe backstory. A history for the story to come. Are these not often sad?
ReplyDeleteI feel a little guilty, enjoying too much coming up with theses images…☺
I looked, I saw Holocaust....misery and hopelessness yet i find the beauty you draw in every painful line...
