Second Week




Second Week


This morning was the second week “RS” posed for the Independent Painters Group. She was in the same pose and I painted her from the same vantage point in the studio. Instead of using watercolors, I used acrylic on a stretched linen canvas. I’m sort of amazed; she ended up looking almost exactly the same. I’m becoming too consistent.

    Indeed, almost the same, but...the turn of the head slightly changed, scratching the face...or it's only me...

      Maybe a slight change… Could be the lighting too. The shadow are slightly different..

    a portrait of a woman a real one, a beautiful one that ages gracefully, haven't seen the first but I will , she may look strict, so I'm looking forward to the previous one, and the colours are magnificent
