    1. They were temporary intruders, long ago. Only the ruins remain. They are ignored by those escaping to the islands for the solitude.

  2. Interesting title...for a fascinating sketch.
    At first I thought these were the Islands' fishermen returning with their catch at dusk, and thought:
    Aah...fresh fish...so delicious and nutritious - oops! Sorry Nemo and Freddy (my pet goldfish)! *rather guilty smiles*

    Now...I am more intrigued than ever...

    1. Your understanding isn’t that far off. The fish camp was a place set up within the islands to drop off the catch for processing and lodge at night. Larger boats would take the fish back to the mainland, or so the story goes☺
