In Such a Short Time

Yesterday’s sketch of my oldest grandchild from a reference photo (taken by a teammate’s parent) at a football practice earlier this year. And a sketch I did of him back in 2013 playing soccer. It seems like only a few days ago. Time passes so quickly, it seems, as we both continue to grow.

    I totally agree with you...time does seem to race away - more and more so as we grow older, I find!
    But photos and sketches like these are timeless...will never age...are captured forever in their peak.
    Aah...if only we could bottle such an essence...*smiles*

    I don’t know why, but it seems we age faster when using our children and then our grandchildren growing up as a gauge..
