Silent Conversation

Silent Conversation

A silent conversation
with recent roaring waves.
The sun almost hidden
behind the trees
touching a now
almost abandoned
shore.

Weaker now gurgling
responses to questions
randomly proposed.
Questions not considered
when the waves were
too busy showing off
knowing they would be
ignored.

Sketch of a granddaughter at dusk along a Lake Huron shore earlier this summer.
9”x 9” ink and watercolor

  1. Bonjour Anthony,

... Elle écoute peut-être ce que la mer a à lui dire... Très joli travail.

    Gros bisous 🌸

  2. How often do we all have these moments...in conversation with Nature?!
    I know I do... frequently.
Waves are a great mentor...as are the leaves of trees in a strong wind.
    How wonderfully evocative...😊😊
