Touch of Insanity
When Sleep fails,
a touch of insanity
can prevail.
Small usually ignored
voices whisper,
just load enough
to disturb illusions
of being okay.

Yesterday evening I sketched at a
second drop in session for the day. Models posed in various spaces in the
basement of a pub.
Both 12”x 9” ink, sanguine and
chalk on craft paper
You must be psychic...these are precisely the kind of nights I am having at present and, yes, insomnia really does bring a kind of derangement of thought! lol

DeleteThe poses were interesting as the models took turns posing on the floor surrounded by a crowded room of sketchers, many of them balancing beer and wine glasses while trying to draw.
