Once Exposed

Once Exposed

On this side
I knew just enough.
Life seemed okay.
Until I visited
the other side.
Now there is no
place to hide.

A sketch from the session with “R” yesterday sitting on a drawing horse, which ended up being a wall on the other side of a river he had once crossed.
14”x 11” ink and watercolor

  1. No place to hide from our prying eyes! ;)
Yes, he does appear rather exposed here...and I can only hope he is in imaginary summertime. I would hate to think of him freezing to death in the current temperatures! *smiles*
I love the blue of the sky and river. Well, altogether a fabulous painting! :))

    1. Yes, hard to imagine being exposed as he was in the present season. Sort of a challenge when sketching nudes to stay in the season when there is enough time to come up with a background.
      Thank you
