Her Street (Revisited)

Her Street (Revisited)

And so there she was.
And there she was again.
A glowing light repeated
over and over and over
with each step.

And so then as before
between the shadows again.
With promises in each glow
she luring me once more
into my oblivion.

The painting is a larger, and hopefully improved, version of a preliminary sketch I posted a while ago. The earlier poem has been edited a bit too.
So I guess this is the finished version of “Her Street”.
Recently juried into the 26th annual Poetry Art Night (PAN) competition and exhibit at the Suzanne Haskew Arts Center in Milford, Mi.
20”x 14” ink and watercolor

  1. Such a stunning watercolor!
I really liked it's previous incarnation...but this updated version is even better!
And I long to walk this street even more strongly now.
Congrats on the competition too...so well deserved!😊😊

  2. Bonsoir cher Anthony,

    Gros bisous
