Holding On



Holding On

Not going away.
Standing out alone
within a shadowy crowd
of generic strangers
trying to hold on
too.

Was able to sketch “S” last night in a costume session. It has been a number of years. I thought he had stopped modeling. Happy to be mistaken. Was a bit like a reunion.

    J'aime le travail par des ombres des personnages en retrait. Cela apporte un magnifique contraste et une âme dans votre peinture.

    He has stepped straight out of a favourite Western movie!
    What an amazing sketch, so much character and power in his stance...I am really glad, too, that he hadn't decided to stop modelling...😊😊
