Almost
Still Life, Revisited
Caught
in a still life again,
wondering
about life
on
the other side
of
the glass.
“ES”
was back in the same pose yesterday as she was last Friday afternoon. So I
sketched her again from another vantage point in the studio. I was left with
half the page to fill with something. I decided to create a source for the
light.

Wonderful!😊😊
ReplyDeleteShe looks as amazing as she did before...and your creation for the source of the light is wonderfully innovative. You have me wondering now, too, about the life on the other side of the glass...😉
Have a great day!
I was wondering too what to sketch outside the window. What part of life might she be missing?
DeleteThank you
I have been there too often, not to recognize both the desire and the impossibility of it. You amaze me, always have, always will
ReplyDeleteThought of times I myself have looked out at the immediate world not wanting to be noticed. she was so still on the stage for such a long time.
DeleteThank you.
