In Another Room

In Another Room

She looked lonely
on the stage.
She looked even lonelier
after inventing couples
on the other side
of the wall.

Did this sketch yesterday morning of “SR” in a session with the Independent Painters.
14”x 17” ink and watercolor

Fountain Pen: Platinum Carbon fine point

  1. Absolutely! Not much worse than being alone among couples!😉
A fabulous sketch...that expresses so much emotion.
She does appear lonely and dejected...

    1. Will be sketching her again this Friday from a different vantage point. Might make up a partner for her☺
      Thank you

  2. I love people, yet I'm a loner at heart and don't wish for people but wish I did...this speaks to me in a strange and unusual way, you Anthony

  3. Thank you for that, now I have found another blogger who touched me so much, Margie, she doesn't blog anymore and that is a shame as far as poetry goes, I think she is the best, as I love your drawings the most awesome and of course the writing of your other visitor Ygraine who I am so awed by...found my favourites I'm happy although others I really like a lot but you, Margie, Ygraine are Masters in your chosen field. So big applause for 3 favourites
