Yes...I get the "almost"! She appears to have been sitting too long...there is a certain discomfort in her pose and a sense of wanting to be gone in her expression. All these you have captured with your usual expertise! :)
You drew her so beautifully, she looks exotic...even if slightly uncomfortable, I know it doesn't bother you but I just don't understand why you don't have 50 to 70 comments everyday, it's always such a treat, like eye candy and so artistically done oh well, their loss
Thank you.. She is a favorite model, which is probably obvious by now. It does bother me.. As much as I look forward to comments from you and Ygraine and the few others who comment regularly, I do wish there were more comments. On the other hand I do get over a hundred views registered on most of the days I post. Most just don’t have anything to note, which is okay. I don’t comment on all the blogs I follow either, only the special ones☺
Thank you My problem with the front view is scale. By the time I confirm the portrait, I have too large a head to keep the rest of the figure on the page.
The sketches, paintings and sometimes the writing I post on this site express what needs to be known about me. I attempt to record on a daily basis what I observe, what I imagine, and sometimes what I dream about.
I hope you enjoy my art, and the dialogue.

It was a hard pose to look comfortable in. I liked this about the pose too.

ReplyDeleteNice one, again.I usually hate front facing sitting poses and try to reposition myself so that I am looking a model's profile! You do it well, though.
