A Second Portrait of "P"

A Second Portrait Of “P”
I had some time at the end of his pose a number of days ago to do this quick sketch.
9”x 12” ink and chalk on toned paper

  1. There is a look of intimate knowing on his face, as if he is sharing a private memory with a very special companion.
I am intrigued...wish I could see who is there...and learn his story! *smiles*

    1. I think maybe it is the beard, and white hair. Knowledge is assumed, I think, from such features..
This sketch was drawn after a longer drawing of “P” appearing to be attached to a cross that I posted a week or so ago. I suppose he was looking away from his torturers☺
