Half Free

Half Free

Half free
The promised freedom
Instigated the surge
Of creativity

Half left
The promised freedom
Revived the memory
Of the cost

Sketching on the back side of discarded words.

  3. Ah...such a huge cost...I can feel it's heaviness weighing down upon her shoulders.
Oh to win that important other half and total freedom...:)

    1. The question remains: at what cost? half way to freedom is not an easy place to start questioning the cost. Does she remove the remaining weight covering her, or not? (I would)

  4. You've stated it beautifully in words and in painting, the price is indeed very high...sometimes too high

    1. Thank you
Yes, but for promised freedom half achieved, can the remembered cost not be risked again?

    1. Aw you remembered the last… Yes the text on the other side of the page had been bled on long ago waiting for me to sketch on the side left untouched, like so many others in the discard pages stacked on the edge of my desk.
