Week in Orange
Painted
with the Independent Painters Group this morning.
“RO” showed up to pose in the orange dress. I scrambled to find some blue fabric to place over the chair. Without it, even in bright orange, she seemed to disappear.

Nice combination..good thing you found the blue cloth; but the orange in her dress stands out anyway.
ReplyDeleteI would have put some blue against the orange even if I hadn't found the fabric.
DeleteThank you

DeleteA fun time with”RO”.
Oh yes...the blue background is indeed the perfect frame for her stunning orange dress.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a striking portrait, Anthony...the colours are truly amazing...she does appear slightly bored though...either that, or is lost in thought. I wonder what she is thinking...
Have a Great Weekend :)
Yes the blue helped.
DeleteThank you. She holds the look, bored or not, very well☺
She was thinking about how busy the rest of her day will be. Posing on the occasional Friday for us, I think is a break from the typical busy Friday.
Hope you have a good weekend too.
