Portraits
of “GE”
I
did a portrait of him earlier this month playing a completely different
character. Yesterday, he was looking seriously important and military. The two
drawings of “GE” above are from the same pose yesterday. I finished his
portrait with about twenty minutes to go. So I sketched another, showing more
of him.
Both:
9”x 12” fountain pen and chalk on toned paper

Bonjour cher Anthony,
ReplyDeleteVos dessins à la plumes sont toujours fascinants par la complexité des traits qui apporte un charme fou.
Un portrait sérieux qui impose !
Gros bisous ❊
The fascination is how much sometimes is clearer after all the lines.

Amazing how you can draw, the military, authority, the bearing of an army man...with any man, you have such incredible talent sweetie x
ReplyDeleteHis face, his look, provides so much to work with.
DeleteThank you
It was definitely the military aspect that grabbed my attention first.
ReplyDeleteHe has the bearing of a great Middle Eastern, or maybe South American, leader...I'd say...a Colonel at least! :)
Yes I agree.. There is a certain authority in his bearing here. He is obviously in charge…
DeleteVery nice portrait Tony
