    I read first the 'inventing' as 'investing' as I see how much you've invested of your energy and imagination in these sketches..

    The invention of this new character is fascinating...there is so much to be interpreted, there, in his face. I see both joy and sadness...and perceive a long story in embryonic form...:))

      The real challenge is to make the image match a description, and then the harder part is to make his image different enough to not be mistaken for other characters already invented.
