A Few of “GR”
He modeled for this mornings life drawing session.
The sketches are of some less than lively moments. 
1st: 12”x 9” ink on toned grey paper
2nd: 18”x 24” graphite on paper

    unfortunately life comprises more pain than happiness, so we can learn, although we can learn I'm told happily as well,,,

      I think life is mostly happy, no matter how bad.. There isn't a good alternative..

    These two tell me a clear story here.
    In the first: he is tired, sad, life has been a bitch.
    Then, he thinks himself out of his dejection...there is always an alternative way of perceiving a situation...and with that vision comes release from inner torment!
    I predict his day will end on a much happier note...how is that for a crazy imagination? *smiles*
