Placing
“SH” in the Islands
In
the last pose yesterday**, “SH” acted out sleeping on the modeling stage. I had
a chance to sketch her and place her in a much warmer place. The second drawing
of sketches from shorter poses sort of said “island’ to me too.
1st:
24”x 18” pastel on colored charcoal paper
2nd:
18”x 18” sanguine on paper
**
See yesterday’s post
I like the face features, reflecting character of the person, very sharp lines, your signature strokes hard to confuse with another artist.
ReplyDeleteI do like drawing faces☺
DeleteThank you so much
and still she remains so natural and free, like it's the way it should be, bravo on the expressions
ReplyDeleteYes, she does fit well in the islands
DeleteThank you
She really does possess a regal quality...yes...I see her as Goddess of the Islands...or at least, their elemental essence.
ReplyDeleteShe blends with the nature of the Islands so well that she is almost a part of the land itself!
What a talent you have...:)
The stocking hat added to the island image too. It went with the theme.
