Costume for “E”
For
the costumed figure session I attended yesterday “E” posed in a similar version
of the dance costume I did a drawing of her in back in January of 2013.

Nice drawing and very beautiful dance costume for belly dance originating from the Middle East !!!
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteShe has quite a few similar costumes.
very lovely and yes I went back , total different get up, but it does seem to be within the Middle East Belly dance costume as ART-TRAVELLER so aptly commented, always bravo Anthony
ReplyDeleteThank you
DeleteThe model is originally from Greece.
Love the model 's attitude, light smile ;...took look back - very interesting, more original face expression - in nude form...
ReplyDeleteShe very popular. She’s been modeling for a lot of the sessions I have been attending lately.
DeleteYes...definitely a Middle Eastern belly dancer!
ReplyDeleteIsn't she amazing?!
Oh I'd LOVE to try belly dancing! ;)
It’s almost a crime to make her stand still for us to draw and paint her. Could have spent the session watching her dance☺
DeleteThey have classes, you know☺
Nicely done...do you find costumes interesting or a hindrance? In my life drawing session, one model poses with drapes, but I do not prefer them somehow.
ReplyDeleteFor the shorter poses I would rather work from a nude model. When the pose is say more than 30 minutes, I do enjoy the additional challenge of fabric.
