oh Anthony it doesn't speak to me it screams because this is me, always me, consoling me, there could be another story but I'd be lying, I never lie to myself. Sometimes i feel you look deeper than even you realize, still and all I miss my Islands of Solitudes like nothing else
Lorraine You have a way of finding what artist most want others to find in their work. Thank you I have been working on the Islands Off Solitude project for a couple of weeks now, when I can find the time. Unfortunately, I’ve been working on the story rather than the art. I’ll put together some new images in the coming weeks.
Ygraine Thank you. These two poses are from the same model. I sketched the second pose behind the first.. Your comment helps me get past the mechanics of drawing to see the tenderness.
The sketches, paintings and sometimes the writing I post on this site express what needs to be known about me. I attempt to record on a daily basis what I observe, what I imagine, and sometimes what I dream about.
I hope you enjoy my art, and the dialogue.

Oh such tenderness here...such utter understanding that only a woman can have for another.

DeleteI haven’t had much luck turning drawings from life drawing sessions into good paintings afterwards.
