"E" Dressed for a Party

“E” Dressed for a Party
She was dressed for a party, posing yesterday, in the afternoon.
She spent most of the morning posing on her throne.
She swirled. She danced. She sat sort of awkward for a while.
1st and 2nd: 12”x 18” ink and watercolor on cold press
3rd: 13”x 17” five minute ink and watercolor on paper not intended to be wet.

  1. Bonjour cher Anthony,
Le travail du drapé est somptueux. Le tissu danse autour de son corps ce qui la rend très sensuelle.
    Très joli travail...
    Gros bisous

  2. She looks like she's trying to get used to the get-up. But I'd say she's ready to go dancing!

    1. She was definitely ready to dance at the session. She had stories to tell relating good times she has had in the gown.

  3. indeed the dresses switching around makes appear to be a gypsy something she is most definitely not, but she'll do it for you, does anyone ever say no...I wonder, either \I love the sketches \I feel like dancing in those dresses that move with wind created by your body's movements, love it Anthony

    1. She has been a gypsy in past sessions. “E” always has a number of costumes to choose from when she models. I enjoy drawing and painting her in all of them, or in nothing at all☺
      Thank you

  4. Yes...there is such a sense of movement in these wonderful sketches...they seem to come to life in swirling 3D.
And how I love that purple dress...oh I so want one like that!! *smiles*

    1. The purple dress did put her in a dancing mood. Between poses she danced, she swirled. The dress, I can see why it might be desired☺
      Thank you
