Hidden Paradise

Hidden Paradise

I’m sure they’re within
Earlier versions of us
They managed
They disappeared

I’m sure they’re within
Miniature version of us
They endure
They find peace
Hidden within trees
Sheltered by rocks
I’m sure I see them
Looking out
From paradise
Wishing
I’d leave
Not come
So close

Another morning spent hidden on one of the small islands, hiding within my sketch.

    1. It only takes a few minutes. Savor the images, the fantasy. I sketch and sketch and pretend☺

  2. Yes...I see them there...and half remember them, as if from another life.
Oh to be back there now...I swear it was a better life! *smiles*

    1. I’m seeing them again too. The memories have returned. Now I’m finally free of all the critiques I was afraid to consult. Now to find a way to join them in the islands of my youth.

  3. Maybe this is you, just reflection as mirror looking at you! Sometimes we see ourselves through eyes of others...nice.

    1. A very good point. You are so right.. Actually I have been developing a story about these islands from my childhood. From time to time these sketches ask to be posted.
      Thank you
