I feel myself wanting to shout "Please turn around, "J"!" I long to read her expression and form a story...from the rear she seems alert, expectant...I wonder what is going through her mind as she sits motionless? So intriguing...:)
She may have turned for you. I wonder if the story isn’t more interesting from behind? There is much less known to discourage the story her back is leaving so exposed to explore.
Her posture seems to indicate some minor pain, like she fell or something, looks like an ice bag behind her or maybe a heated one? or maybe just a cushion and my imagination runs away with me..either way love the posture...and hope she's not in pain
No pain.. Just another pose for ten or so minutes under the lights as I searched to capture the familiar shadows. A back I have sketched often over the past few years. Each time I imagine a new story of where she is looking, often on a rocky shore overlooking the islands☺ Didn’t have time to shade in the cushion..
The sketches, paintings and sometimes the writing I post on this site express what needs to be known about me. I attempt to record on a daily basis what I observe, what I imagine, and sometimes what I dream about.
I hope you enjoy my art, and the dialogue.
