Friday morning, still feeling stuffed from the day before, I sketched this while
sitting on the bottom step of the back porch of the place in South Louisiana
where my wife was raised.
oh my gosh 100% improvement on previous tree, I love this ..I love that your wife was born in South Louisiana, I hate the heat and yet oh I've read as many books as I could about ,bayous, French Quarters. Louisiana...I love it all although i can't stand heat, how weird am I ...wow your wife must have such great souvenirs oops sorry this is all about that awesome drawing lol way to go Anthony!
Here is a place I would so loved to have explored as a child...and that wonderful tyre-swing...I would give my eye-teeth to swing on it even now, in middle-age!! This magnificent sketch so reminds me of my own back yard in childhood...it's like a trip down memory lane! :)
The sketches, paintings and sometimes the writing I post on this site express what needs to be known about me. I attempt to record on a daily basis what I observe, what I imagine, and sometimes what I dream about.
I hope you enjoy my art, and the dialogue.

We all remember the back yards we spent so much time in. I’m sure it’s been years since the swing was used.
