It seems all this people met all together fulfilled their inner desire for Oneness, although moved to the end separately...Great ideas in refreshing blue pen.
I took a walk on a path in the woods last weekend and your sketch reminds me of the path .. I met a few people and said 'hello' and we continued on ,,, I like the blue here .. Great work ...
As I sit gazing at this evocative composition, I am so powerfully drawn into it's centre. I just want to follow the path...right to it's end. I see priestesses lining it's edge...and I just KNOW I have to enter...for my destiny lies at it's end. This is a story of epic proportions...;) Brilliant!!
I do like how you see so much in my lines.. I think there are great stories waiting to be imagined on so many paths like this, if we take them, wondering of where they lead, coming up with the possibilities. It is almost better never to reach the end, but rather walk until what could be is so much better than really finding out.
I know exactly what you mean...it's the adventure, the promise of what may lie at the path's end...the final attainment is all too often followed by an inexplicable sense of disappointment...
The sketches, paintings and sometimes the writing I post on this site express what needs to be known about me. I attempt to record on a daily basis what I observe, what I imagine, and sometimes what I dream about.
I hope you enjoy my art, and the dialogue.

ReplyDeleteMaybe they have been at the end of the path all the time, just waiting for me to join them? Oh how important I can be with all this control☺

I want to follow that path Anthony and be led into the Islands of Solitudes forever.....
ReplyDeleteThere are a number of paths to follow on the islands within, to remain hidden from those on the mainland.
DeleteWonderful sketch.
