Here she seems has more patience...eyes, chin positioning show attitude well. Could you consider doing bigger portret? Have you ever done bigger picture?
I do larger portraits, sometimes when I paint.. When I draw especially with ink, I like to work smaller as the cross hatching takes longer and gets sort of boring with more area to cover.
I meant to add, it's always such a pleasure to visit you as I really love seeing your sketches ... my grandpa was an artist and I have some of his sketches ...he did landscapes mostly but did some faces too.
Oh wow...those eyes!! There is so much experience of life in there...love, joy, loss, sadness...she has felt it all. And you have captured all this with your usual outstanding skill! Oh how wonderful.:)
The sketches, paintings and sometimes the writing I post on this site express what needs to be known about me. I attempt to record on a daily basis what I observe, what I imagine, and sometimes what I dream about.
I hope you enjoy my art, and the dialogue.
