More Time With a New Face

A sketch from a longer pose “RS” provided a couple of days ago.
9”x 12” fountain pen, and a little colored pencil on toned paper.

  1. Here she seems has more patience...eyes, chin positioning show attitude well. Could you consider doing bigger portret? Have you ever done bigger picture?

    1. I do larger portraits, sometimes when I paint.. When I draw especially with ink, I like to work smaller as the cross hatching takes longer and gets sort of boring with more area to cover.

  4. I meant to add, it's always such a pleasure to visit you as I really love seeing your sketches ... my grandpa was an artist and I have some of his sketches ...he did landscapes mostly but did some faces too.

    There is so much experience of life in there...love, joy, loss, sadness...she has felt it all.
