Interview

Him
So powerful in youth
following old rules
breaking local records
winning foolish goals
forgotten so soon.

Her
So strong,
Yet hindered by old rules,
once weak in the shadows,
now controlling the fall
of foolishness
he’ll never understand.

    1. I was once a powerful boy playing foolish games, then a man seeing importance in the foolishness. Maybe in old age, I’m finally realizing who continues to have the real strength…

  5. Aah...the fall of foolishness...beyond his understanding...yet well known on a deeper level that reaches beyond time.
Perhaps they are one...he is a half-recalled previous incarnation of herself...the way he seems less in focus than she is...less solid.
I sense a story of legendary proportions here...your words and sketches combine in a truly magical way! :)

    1. You captured what became obvious as the doodles took form, and express the resulting image so much better than I.
      Thank you
