Agree.. Even more she was waiting for something more to happen, I think. Not sure she had any expectations though based on those of us who were drawing her.
I love the sepia tones...so evocative of a bygone era. For me, she is from the First World War era...and that endless patience is in awaiting a letter from the front...for there is a hint of sadness in her eyes too...that is strongly suggestive of dark premonitions...
