Now I am intrigued! I wonder why you pretend not to be there...perhaps there are too many demands upon your time...well, I can understand if that is the reason...your work is truly unique and so beautiful, and this is no exception. This stunning sketch reminds me of a scene out of a Rupert Bear Annual (my favourite childhood books), and all the excitement of anticipation as to where the river will lead. I feel I want to take my canoe and sail off into the distance...:))
Being in the present is not something I do very well. Am often pretending to be somewhere else. A walk along a river through a city park has me thinking of being in a forest crowded in by trees rather than the buildings the trees may momentarily hide. Has me pretending I don’t know where the river goes; about the bridge and road not to too far ahead, and the dam beyond, where the river turns into a small lake surrounded by too many large homes. Glad to be able to stir up memories.. Hope you are having a good weekend too. Thank you
The sketches, paintings and sometimes the writing I post on this site express what needs to be known about me. I attempt to record on a daily basis what I observe, what I imagine, and sometimes what I dream about.
I hope you enjoy my art, and the dialogue.
