Another Loss

Another Loss
A sketch from a few days ago. I’m not sure there is a story, maybe just a memory of some design left on a drawing board?

  2. A hidden family mausoleum within the depths of a forest?
There is a strong sense of brooding isolation here...I can imagine stumbling upon this place quite by accident while out rambling.:)

    1. Just think of the pleasant isolation that existed before the buildings invaded?
I wouldn’t mind stumbling on them though, especially if they were deserted and overgrown…
A great place to look for ghosts.

    2. Definitely...just the place to sit in absolute silence and catch those movements out of the corner of your eye! ;)

  3. Looks like the representation of a mattress going wild and letting loose all the springy stuff...sorry I missed it yesterday my my comment should be deeper but I only see mattresses with loose springs, that's gotta hurt :)

    1. I can see the wild mattress coming through. I’ve spent too many years sketching buildings☺
      Thank you

  4. The first thought was about the Gulliver, travelling to Lilliput by J. Swift...all these strings little people used to tie him tough...but then he was too strong and broke through... ~ interesting!

  5. It’s interesting seeing the sketched lines as objects rather than as a means of showing or defining objects. All these lines as strings trying to bond someone has me now seeing this so differently. It’s sort of scary.
