High Behind a Wall

High Behind a Wall

I could have been capturing views Notre Dame. It was there high behind the stone wall. Instead I captured them looking over the wall.
From a visit to Paris this summer.
10”x 9” ink and watercolor

  1. Oh how I love the vibrant colours and warmth in this fabulous sketch.
At first glance, I believed them to be picking fruit from the trees...but then I noticed the cameras...and read your words!
Wish I could have been there too...but then, your talent has indeed taken me there anyway...:)

    1. Thank you.
Think of how many over the centuries have stopped in the same place to look up and over.

    1. I found them as interesting, if not more so than what they were looking at and trying to capture.
      Thank you
