I've always loved Mondays, she does of course she's close to water, to nature, to birds, I'd wake up in heaven, if only I could enter the ink you use to draw the Islands
She looks rather sad...it may be that she has come to this place of solitude to think things through. Here, she is cocooned in Nature's healing elements...she will eventually emerge stronger and ready to face the obstacles that brought her here...:)
The sketches, paintings and sometimes the writing I post on this site express what needs to be known about me. I attempt to record on a daily basis what I observe, what I imagine, and sometimes what I dream about.
I hope you enjoy my art, and the dialogue.

ReplyDeleteI thought the sketch fit my mood for Monday fairly well. It would be nice to be close to nature, to create and then enter such a sketch.
DeleteThank you
I like how she is nestled in the lines.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteIt was an interesting pose.

She did sort of turn in on herself for this pose. It was the last pose of that morning. She was tired of the previous volunteered exposure, maybe?
DeleteShe looks very focused as if reading the book or searching for something in the magazine...
ReplyDeleteMaybe reading one of the stories that happen when eye lids are closed?
DeleteHappy Monday, Anthony
ReplyDeleteSomehow , I always feel a joy when I see your sketches ..
