Happy Away From the Shore
“SH”
posed today sitting on the edge of the modeling stage. She didn’t fit into my
usual islands shore background. So I placed her somewhere on the mainland
instead.
18”x
24” ebony graphite and pastel on colored paper
That I understand and can relate too, however the background is scrumptious, temples and a hint of something grand, and you drew her so beautifully you can see, feel her displeasure and some restlessness, wow love this again and always dear Anthony, I practice, no much but I got something for you on my blog, well not much but like you tell me, practice, practice, practice....lol Have a great day
ReplyDeleteYes in this pose she just wasn’t ready for the shore.. She provided in a pose later yesterday that placed her in the islands though. Will be posting today..
DeleteLoved what you posted this morning..
Thank you
I can understand her disappointment...being here is nothing like being in the solitude of the Islands.
ReplyDeleteShe feels awkward here, and so uncomfortable...oh inwardly she is screaming to be taken home...:)
This is what I saw too. There were was a pose later in the day where she found her way home☺
DeleteI appreciate some humor here....in the background...warming up sketch.
ReplyDeleteYes her head scarf had me thinking of places with domes☺
