  1. That you can make your art move for us or stand perfectly still is an amazing gift. The rejection is so well expressed, well what I am saying you have done anything that I didn't gasp at, you are a wonderfully gifted artist, and I'm grateful ;)

    1. Thank you…
It has been a tough week, not having these models around to draw.

  2. So very often I look at your sketches and I want to write a poem (to go with what I see in them)
but I doubt I could ever come up with words good enough ...
    These are all wonderful ...

    1. I used to take the time to come up with stories for these kind of sketches too.. I’m sure your words would enhance what I have drawn.
      Thank you

  3. I am really impressed...how you have the amazing ability to draw such vibrant sketches from memory!
Yes, I see rejection in each one...someone has been hurt...and it vividly reawakens an echo of the same emotion within my psyche...
    so, so, powerful...

    1. Don’t be impressed. The sketches here were all drawn in sessions with the models.. My old memory isn’t that good☺
The models provide the emotions you note. I just try to capture them.
If only I was that good☺
      Thank you

  4. Rejection really can hurts, this loss of alignment, trying and scared by new feelings and requirements...nice try to show how to overcome it...~ Particularly, I was struck by lost sketch following by dark/bright shades....different perspective here...

    1. The ultimate hurt, I agree. It takes so much time to overcome, even when thinking it has past. The least reminder can bring it back.
      Keeping busy helps☺
      Thank you
